The heart behind TLC Residential Services was born long before the organization itself. My passion for serving others comes from years of caring for my own parents and family members through life's most challenging moments. As a caregiver, I witnessed firsthand the emotional, physical, and mental challenges that individuals and families face when a loved one needs compassionate, consistent support. Those experiences taught me that true care goes far beyond meeting daily needs — it is about preserving dignity, offering hope, building trust, and creating a place where every person feels valued.

For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my professional career to education, serving as both a teacher and educator working with students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping individuals overcome obstacles, develop life skills, build confidence, and reach goals that many believed were beyond their abilities. Every student and adult I have worked with has reinforced my belief that, with patience, structure, encouragement, and individualized support, every person has the potential to thrive.

My commitment to service extends beyond my professional life. I proudly volunteer at senior citizen recreation centers, where I spend time encouraging older adults through fellowship, activities, and meaningful connections. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassion, companionship, and creating environments where people feel respected, included, and genuinely cared for.

TLC Residential Services is the culmination of my life's work, personal experiences, and unwavering commitment to serving others. It was founded on the belief that every individual deserves a safe, supportive, and nurturing home where they are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Our mission is to empower adults with mental, behavioral, intellectual, and developmental challenges by providing quality residential care that promotes stability, independence, and a higher quality of life.
